1. Provide effective governance. Trustees will review the governance of the charity and its Memorandum and Articles of Association. They will also monitor the risks to Family Action arising from the takeover of fsu and from the volatile funding environment.
2. Build a strong organisation based on the values and creativity of both Family Action and the former fsu. We are committed to reviewing our policies, processes, systems and structures in support of social justice, inclusivity and diversity. We will develop and implement an evidence based monitoring and evaluation system for our services and review and develop our user involvement strategy.
3. Provide services for families and individuals in need and seek new opportunities for helping as many more families in need as we can, safely and effectively. We will work holistically with families and will promote this practice to stakeholders and funders. We will also seek to work with families that other organisations do not reach, including those with complex needs and those living in rural areas.
4. Administer finances available to our Grants and Deputy and Trusteeship Services prudently and effectively.
5. Develop Family Action as a charity with influence. We will use our experience of running services and involve our service users to advocate for policy change.
