Family Action works with families across the country. We're celebrating the work we do with mums, to help them look after their children, be the best mother's they can, and as a family achieve great things together.
We know that the mums we work with can become great mothers with the right support.
For various reasons, the mums Family Action works with often struggle to provide for their families - this may be due to a mental illness or disability, living in poverty or due to living with domestic abuse.
Our family support workers help parents improve their parenting skills, keep children safe and consequently be better parents and providers.
Family Action has been highly commended on it's use of the Family Star evaluation tool, which helps our staff and mum's work together to improve parenting.
