Octavia Hill Centenary

Octavia Hill (1838-1912) was a pioneer of social reform and a founder member of Family Action. On August 13th 2012, it is 100 years since Octavia Hill died. As one of Family Action's founders, we're celebrating her outstanding work, and the legacy that she left behind.

Concerned with the conditions that poor people were subject to in Victorian London, Octavia Hill lead the way to changes in social welfare and housing.
