Making an ‘in memory’ donation to charity is a valuable and positive way to celebrate the life of a relative, friend or other loved one. It’s a touching way to remember them and, by making an ‘in memory’ gift to Family Action, you can make a real difference to some of the country’s most vulnerable families.
There are a number of ways you can support Family Action in memory of a loved one:
Donations in lieu of flowers
Many people choose to make a donation to charity rather than pay for expensive funeral flowers. We can provide donation envelopes to be distributed at the funeral and/or offer guidance in setting up an online page. The Funeral Director will also be able to advise you on this matter.
Make a direct donation
You can make a donation at any time in memory of your loved one:
- Online via our website
- Online via JustGiving
- Via post by sending a cheque made payable to
24 Angel Gate, City Road, London, EC1V 2PT
Create an online ‘in memory’ page or Tribute Fund
You can set up an online giving page in memory of your loved one on www.justgiving.com/familyaction
Click on ‘fundraise for us’ and then the ‘in memory’ button. There are also lots of websites which offer you the opportunity to set up an online Tribute Fund – please contact us for more information.
You can then invite other people to donate to your page or Fund and see your donations grow.
