How you can change lives by leaving a gift in your Will

At Family Action, we believe in building stronger families, giving families the tools they need to manage the challenges they face and build a happier, safer, and stronger future together.

We support families facing challenges such as living in poverty, dealing with mental health issues, or caring for a child with a special educational need.

Each year we work with over 45,000 families through over 145 community-based services and projects, providing the emotional, practical, and financial support they need to build a brighter future.

By leaving a gift in your Will to Family Action you’ll help us:

• React to the ever changing challenges facing families. As technology changes the way we live, we’re committed to standing up for families and making sure no one gets left behind.
• Respond to emergencies. In 2017, thanks to gifts left in Wills, we were able to rapidly respond to the Grenfell Tower fire and channel donations through our grants team to those who needed it most.
• Offer help early before families reach crisis. Wherever possible we aim to give support to families as soon as they start to struggle, strengthening them and their communities with the tools and resilience they need.

We’ve been supporting families over 150 years and you can trust us to be around for years to come. Over our long history, families have changed a lot. However for those most vulnerable families, many challenges they face, such as social isolation, poverty and mental ill health persist. That’s why we need your help to continually innovate to meet the changing needs of families now and for generations to come.

The support we provide can turn lives around, give families a fresh start, and build resilience and skills for the future. We equip families with the tools they need to work through the problems they face today, and avoid the problems they might face in the future.
