Our Toy Appeal is a great way to spread Christmas cheer around your office, workplace, school or community group, all while making Christmas magic for families facing difficulties. Whether fundraising or buying gifts for children, supporting our Toy Appeal with your organisation or group makes a huge difference to children who may have had nothing this Christmas.
Christmas is a magical time, however, for many of the families we support it can also bring added difficulties. Increased financial pressures, mental and physical health issues and the challenges of the last year all make Christmas harder for the families we support.
Each year, organisations and groups donate toys to our Toy Appeal which our services distribute locally to the families they support. In 2020 alone, we distributed over 13,000 presents to more than 11,000 children across the country.
This year we want to reach even more families and make Christmas magic for even more children.
How does it work?
When you register to take part in the appeal, we’ll ask you to provide your contact details, where you’re based, whether you’d like to fundraise or buy your gifts and an estimate of how many gifts you’d like to buy.
You’ll be matched to a Family Action service and provided details of the work they do and young people they work with. Depending on your choice to either fundraise or buy gifts, either link your fundraising page to our donation page or; buy, wrap and drop off the gifts at your allocated Family Action service!
The deadline for donating to our Christmas Toy Appeal is Friday 12th November 2021.
