Family Action offers a range of services across the Bradford District. We work in partnership
with local and national organisations to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Perinatal Support Service
Trained volunteers provide peer support to families where a parent is struggling with their emotional health or wellbeing during pregnancy and the first year after birth. This service is part of Better Start Bradford.

Bradford Advice Service
In partnership with West Bowling Training and Advice Centre and Karmand Centre, we provide advice across the Bradford East Constituency on welfare benefits, housing, debt, immigration, employment and consumer issues. Our Domestic Abuse Advisor supports BME women who are fleeing from or living with all forms of domestic violence.

We offer therapeutic services for children and their families across the Bradford District:
- Children and Loss Service: therapeutic support for children and young people aged 5 to 17 who have experienced a bereavement (the bereavement must have occurred at least six months prior to referral)
- Alma Street: therapeutic support for children and young people aged 5 to 17 who have been sexually abused
- Building Bridges Service: counselling for parents/carers affected by mental health issues impacting on relationships
- HOPE: support for children aged 5 to 13 and families who have experienced domestic abuse.
