Local organisations are delivering Holiday Food and Fun programme across the borough, for example, charities, schools, sports organisations and children’s centres. Please find below further information about the programme requirements, minimum standards, training and support available, and so on.

Providers taking part in Holiday Food and Fun receive a grant, training, ongoing support from the team, and access to a wide range of resources (e.g. recipes, templates, activity ideas) in our Members’ area. The password will be given to each successful applicant.

Minimum standards

Minimum standards

Local partners will need to demonstrate they meet certain minimum standards for 2019 providers around safeguarding, food, physical activity etc.

Any food providers must be registered as a food business, at least 28 days before the food provision commences. This registration is a requirement, even when the food is being provided for free (such as the Holiday Food and Fun programme). The registration should be made by completing the Croydon Food Business Registration Form and submitting to food.safety@croydon.gov.uk
