This is Ealing I SAID!’s webpage for young people. Here we explain what we do, tell you how to contact us, and link to useful videos and resources. What is a SENDIAS service?

I SAID! Is a SENDIAS Service. This stands for – Impartial Support, Advice and Information on Disability and special educational needs.

Our service is for you if you:

• Have a special educational need or a disability
• Are aged aged 16 to 25
• Live in Ealing.

We can answer your questions about things such as:

• Filling out forms
• Applying for disability benefits
• Preparing for meetings with your school / college (and we can come with you)

And we can also provide advice regarding education, health or social care issues or concerns, including helping you to understand the Education Health Care Plan (EHC Plan) process. We can help you talk to professionals, and can also tell you about other organisations that might help you. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

Will you tell other people what we talk about?

We won’t talk to other people about anything you tell us (unless you say we can, or if we think you could be in danger). We will help you to make your own decisions and won’t tell you what to do.

Do you charge people?

No, our service is free.
