Staffordshire Family Support and Outreach Service serves the Staffordshire Moorlands, Newcastle under Lyme, Stafford, Cannock Chase and South Staffordshire districts.
We provide emotional, practical and financial support to help children, young people and their families, through a programme of:
Building strong relationships with families is important to us – in family hubs, in the community and within the family home. We strive to promote stable, positive family networks in which all family members can thrive.
Our referral-based family support service offers early help to families to prevent issues from escalating and, equips your family with the skills they need to achieve and sustain positive outcomes. Support workers carry out targeted outreach visits, focusing on families with young children who might benefit from information, advice, guidance and signposting into what already exists in your area.
Family Outreach is about working in the community, with families from all backgrounds, and providing a helping hand with life’s difficulties. We offer both proactive and reactive support, and empower families to support themselves.
Our volunteers provide direct support families using our service, identifying peer groups local to you and helping you get the best from resources and support with the community. We aim build meaningful relationships with children, young people and families and empower them.
