Wythenshawe Children’s Centres

We run five Children’s Centres across Wythenshawe, offering age appropriate sessions for under 5’s, antenatal, health visitor appointments, and an outreach service. Our outreach team specifically provides 1-2-1 support to local families under 5’s.

We run a full programme of free sessions and activities across the centres, for you and your family. You can find the latest timetable on our Facebook page or any of our centres. Please note, booking is recommended for all sessions as drop-ins are only possible where there is capacity on the day.

Our ambition is to work together to enable every child in Manchester to have the best possible start in life.

 

What we offer

Stay and Play: a session for children who are fully mobile and their parent/carer.

Waddler Group: a session for children who are just on the move and their parent/carer.

Baby Group: a session for babies who are not yet mobile and their parent/carer.

Baby Massage: a relaxing session for babies who are not yet mobile and their parent/carer.

Bump to Baby: 4 weeks of antenatal sessions for parents to be

Birth Registration: To register the birth of your baby at our Benchill Centre. (Online booking only through Manchester City Council)

CAPS: Parenting support. Ask about our 14 week programme.

Twinkleboost: Fun sessions to develop children’s speech, language and communication skills!

Childminder drop-in: Drop-in session for childminders and the children they are caring for.

1001 days: Support from conception to your child turning 2 years old.
