Family Action’s East Midlands Adoption Support Service (EMASS) was funded by the Department for Education (DfE) from 2016 to 2018. The EMASS team worked in partnership with a number of local authorities and voluntary sector organisations to ensure adopted children and those with attachment-based difficulties and their families in the East Midlands received the support they needed when they needed it.

EMASS Toolkit

As part of the project, Family Action’s Training and Consultancy team delivered a wide range of training and developed accompanying resources to support schools working with adopted children and those placed with a Special Guardian.
