The Westminster Foundation is an independent organisation representing the charitable activity of The Duke of Westminster and Grosvenor businesses, that provides long term sustainable help and direction to vulnerable young people.
Led by The Duke of Westminster, the Westminster Foundation is passionately committed to giving young people the attention, care and direction that should be taken for granted. The Foundation is focused on creating opportunities for young people (0-25) and their families, to have the resilience, skills and capacity to lead happy and healthy lives.
David Holmes CBE, joins the Westminster Foundation at an important time as the organisation continues to expand its provision of long-term help to vulnerable young people by working closely with organisations supporting families, schools and local communities.
The Duke of Westminster, Chair of the Westminster Foundation said: “I am delighted to welcome David to the Board of the Westminster Foundation. David Holmes CBE said: “Having worked with children, young people and families for the vast majority of my career, I know that effective services provided at the right time can change children’s lives for the better. That motivates me every day. I admire the Westminster Foundation’s work to provide early intervention support to vulnerable young people. They have made a significant impact among the communities they support and I look forward to helping the team and my fellow Trustees continue that work in the years ahead.”
David joins fellow Westminster Foundation Trustees: The Duke of Westminster (Chair of Grosvenor Trustees and Chair of the Westminster Foundation); Victoria Hornby (CEO of Mental Health Innovations) and James Hanbury (Partner at Odey Asset Management).
